Intentional Acoustic Design
Original guitars engineered as coherent systems. From structural intent to final acoustic calibration.
An Orchestra model in its final voice.
Coherence you can feel
The result is an immediate and stable connection with the instrument.
The Collection
Iulius Guitars offer a clear, balanced response and a natural sense of coherence across the full range of the instrument.
Orchestra
A balanced, warm, and articulate steel-string guitar, engineered for clarity, versatility, and an even response across the fretboard.
Seicorde
A nylon-string guitar with a smooth, selective response, offering fine dynamic control and clear separation across registers.
Settecorde
An extended-range guitar rooted in the Brazilian seven-string tradition, designed for balance and comfort across a wide musical range.
A system, not a sum of parts
My work is guided by one principle: taking responsibility for how an instrument behaves, not just how it is built.
The guitar is approached as an interacting system in which structure, mass distribution, stiffness, damping, and coupling determine sound production and perception.
For this reason, acoustic targets are defined before the build begins and verified after assembly through precise measurement and tuning. Evaluation and calibration are integral to the instrument’s acoustics as a coherent whole.
